Frequently Asked Questions

It can be difficult or overwhelming to make that first call looking for home care services. We understand many people have limited or no experience with home care services, and our aim is to make the experience as seamless and stress free as possible. Check out our frequently asked questions section below, and reach out to us with any additional questions or to book your service.
01. What services do you offer?
We provide quality home support services, such as: • Recreational activities and social engagement • Fall prevention exercises • Assistance with personal care including showering, grooming, and dressing • Assistance with light housekeeping and meal preparation • Feeding assistance • Mobility support • Medication reminder • Transportation to appointments and outings (additional cost may apply) • Respite care • Regular updates to family members
02. What are your costs?
Please contact us for a custom quote. Services can be booked on a regular/recurring or casual basis. For example, we can come weekly, monthly, or on occasion. All prices are plus 5% GST.
03. Are your services covered by Alberta Health Services or insurance providers?
During the initial consultation we will present any current funding and resources available either through Alberta Health Servicer’s Self Manage Care program, Alberta Seniors Benefits, Veterans affairs or private insurance providers.
04. What areas do you service?
We are based in Bonnyville and we can provide service to surrounding communities of La Corey, Elk Point, Saint Paul, Glendon, Iron River, Ardmore, Fort Kent, Cold Lake, Lac La Biche, Smoky Lake, and Vilna. Starting March 2024 we are now serving Fort McMurray area.
05. How far in advance should I book?
Generally, we can provide service within 1 week of the request.
06. Do you work evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays?

07. Do you provide updates to family members?
Yes, we provide text or email updates to one designated family member after each visit.
08. Can you co-ordinate with other members of a client's healthcare team?
Yes. We understand many clients may have complex medical needs. With the client's consent, can take notes to share with other members of their healthcare team. We can also assist clients with taking prescribed medications and performing prescribed rehabilitation exercises.
09. Do you work with people who are not seniors?
Yes. We can also work with people with chronic illnesses or disabilities.
10. How do you process payments?
Payment is due in full after each visit. We accept debit or credit cards on site or Interac e-transfer.
