Apidae Compassion Care is an independent, locally owned and operated small business based in Bonnyville, Alberta. Our small team of care professionals are passionate about improving the well-being of seniors. Our team members are insured and have undergone criminal record checks vulnerable sectors checks. They are also equipped with CPR and First Aid training.

My name is Kathryn and I’m a wife and mother of two from Bonnyville, Alberta. I've worked in both Physio, Occupational and Recreation Therapy in Acute Care, Outpatients, and Long-Term Care settings. During my time with AHS, I’ve noticed a gap in care when it comes to our Seniors so this inspired me to start Apidae Compassion Care. I choose the name “Apidae”, which stands for a family of social bees, because well who doesn’t love Bumble Bees and it kind of sounds like “Happy Day.” My goal with Apidae is to offer services that help support our Elderly “Age in Place” and encourage independence.
